I never heard of Eckhart Tolle before, I'm not much into spirituality. But my new clients, the Terra Incognita publishing house, thought, my collages fit perfectly to show Tolle's essense in Ukrainian edition. So it started with the collage, named Outleap 2 (first one is here), that grew out reading Tolle's quotes:
The moment your attention turns to the Now, you feel a presence, a stillness, a peace. You no longer depend on the future for fulfillment and satisfaction—you don’t look to it for salvation.
That gave a key. So I did something much more tender, than originally would.
I had some time searching for the right combination of type and image—client wanted type to ber as big as it could, but not for the cost of size of collage. After lots of comps, we stopped on use of
Gill Sans Nova ExtraCond Bold and it worked up perfectly.
